I'm a Class A Member of the LPGA - the golf industry's leader in research based golf education.  "Consistency through Efficiency" is my teaching trademark - and I teach golfers of all ability levels. 

I try to give students the knowledge and understanding of the pre-swing and in-swing fundamentals required for an efficient golf swing, along with useful ways to practice and refine those fundamental skills.  New golfers, experienced golfers and competitive golfers can all benefit from this objective approach to teaching golf by learning and understanding how to identify their own swing errors by cause and effect.  

I'm especially privileged to be the Featured Instructor at the Oak Meadows Golf Club and Practice Center in Addison, IL and the Green Meadows Golf Club in Westmont, IL.  I also have winter programs at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools in Chicago, IL and the White Pines Golf Dome in Bensenville, IL.          

Over the last 20 years, I've given tens of thousands of golf lessons.  I have also been lucky to serve many groups in golf.  Among them the - LPGA, PGA, WGA, Catholic Charities, Off the Street Kid's Club, Athletes Against Drugs, Maryville Academy, Neumann Association, Executive Women's Golf Association, EWN, Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, Mundelein Seminary, St. Andrew and St. Bonaventure Parishes, New Hope Community Center, The First Tee, Crisis Center for South Suburbia, Deicke Home, Saint Ignatius Golf Teams, T.A.N., The Theatre School at DePaul University, University of Chicago Lab Schools and Illinois State University's Women's Golf Program.  

I've also served on the research committees for the book Smart Golf by Drs. DeDe Owens and Dan Kirshenbaum and the 2007 University of Chicago LPGA Golf Findings Study by Dr. John Milton.  Both experiences were outstanding and have proven to be invaluable to my teaching.

I'm happy to say that our iPhone App - GolfPro911 - has been downloaded in over 57 countries around the world and has been seen on the "What's Hot" list in Sports Apps in the Apple iTunes Store.  Thank you so much for that!       

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.  I love this city -the people, the food, the lakefront - and am a loyal Chicago sports fan.  GO CUBS!  GO BEARS!  GO BULLS!  GO BLACKHAWKS!! 

I'm also a proud DePaul Alum (B.S.Ed '87) and Blue Demon Letter Winner in Softball.  GO BLUE DEMONS!

Sue Hennessy

Amateur Champion - Midlothian CC

On-Course Playing Expert

Sue is a top competitive amateur golfer and for many years the Club Champion at Midlothian CC.  Among her career highlights...she is a 2-time winner of the CWDGA 1 Day Stroke Tournament, CWDGA Championship Silver Medalist, USGA Senior-Am Qualifier and 5-time Silver Lake Autumn Classic Champion.

Sue is a teacher by trade and has a B.S. Ed. from Augustana.  She graciously brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the lesson tee.  Sue is our "On-course Playing Expert"!  We can thank her for the "chich" shot!

She instructs in our Golf Schools, Clinics, Group Lessons and Player Development Leagues.  

Bobby Bruggeman

Bobby has been playing golf for 15 years.  He was an elite junior golfer and played competitively on his high school and college golf teams.  He has been a summer staffer at Oak Meadows G.C. and is working towards membership in the PGA. 

Although, young in teaching experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the lesson tee from his many years of playing competitive golf.  He stays competitive by playing in local events.

Bobby is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University and is a dedicated high school teacher and coach in our Chicago Public School System.

The History of Rachel Teresi Golf

Rachel Teresi Golf was formed with the idea of giving Chicago area golfers sound, fundamental and consistent golf instruction - year-round! 

"Consistency through Efficiency"TM is our teaching mantra and we do believe that golf is a game that anyone can play when it is learned properly. 

Rachel, herself, started playing golf as an adult, at the age of 27.  She took lessons and practiced everyday.  She achieved her LPGA Class A Membership Status under the supervision of her teaching mentor, colleague and friend, the late LPGA Master Professional Dr. DeDe Owens at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont, IL.
