Rachel Teresi, LPGA

Rachel Teresi is a Class A Member of the LPGA - the golf industry’s leader in research-based golf education.  “Consistency through efficiency” is her teaching trademark and she teaches golfers of all ability levels. 

Beginners to competitive golfers are able to benefit from her golf instruction by learning how to identify their swing errors by cause and effect.  Rachel gives students an understanding of the pre-swing and in-swing fundamentals required for an efficient golf swing motion and useful ways to practice and refine those fundamental skills.  Her teaching objective is to help students realize their potential in golf. 

She has given thousands of golf lessons and over the years has served various groups in golf including:  the LPGA, PGA, WGA, Catholic Charities, Athletes against Drugs, Maryville Academy, Marianjoy Rehab Hospital, Mundelein Seminary, St. Andrew and St. Bonaventure Parishes, New Hope Community Center, Crisis Center for South Suburbia and, most recently, Saint Ingnatius Girl's Golf Team.  She also served on the research committees for the book Smart Golf by Dr. DeDe Owens and Dr. Dan Kirshenbaum and for the 2007 University of Chicago and LPGA's Golf Findings Study by Dr. John Milton.

Rachel is the Featured Instructor at the Oak Meadows Golf Club and Practice Center in Addison, Illinois.  She has a B.S. in Education from DePaul University and holds a special LPGA Certificate in Accessible Golf.  Rachel is a lifelong Chicago resident and spends her winters teaching golf in the Chicago area at the White Pines Golf Dome in Bensenville, IL. 

The History of Rachel Teresi Golf

Rachel Teresi Golf was developed with the idea of giving Chicago area golfers sound, fundamental and consistent golf instruction year-round.  

"Consistency through Efficiency"TM is our goal for our students and we believe that golf is a game that anyone can play if it is learned properly. 

Rachel herself started playing golf in 1992 at the age of 28 and became an LPGA Class A Member in 1996.
